The Power of Chart Imbalances

presented by Sue Farebrother

What is missing in the birth chart is just as important as what is present, because whatever is missing tends to have great power over us. Whatever is missing in some areas may also indicate a dominant function elsewhere.

Sue will consider some chart imbalances and their important effects on an individual, including elemental, sign and house imbalances, distribution of the planets in the chart wheel, and unaspected planets.

Significant chart themes can be found from assessing a chart in these ways, even before considering the further themes gained from looking at the chart’s sign and house placements, aspects and patterns.

What does this mean for your own chart, or your clients’ charts?

Sue FarebrotherAbout the speaker
Sue Farebrother Sue has been a professional astrologer and tarot consultant for more than 20 years in private practice in London. She teaches astrology for both the Faculty of Astrological Studies, where she trained, and the London School of Astrology (LSA). She also teaches courses in the tarot for the LSA and privately.

Sue gained a distinction for her Cultural Astronomy and Astrology MA dissertation (for the Sophia Centre) in 2007, which was on the links between astrology and tarot in the 19th century. Her beginners book, Astrology Decoded, was recently published by Rider/Random House to critical acclaim.

Continuing professional development is important to her, and she is currently taking a Life Coaching course, having trained as a psychotherapist in Psychosynthesis in the 1980s. She plans to incorporate the coaching training into her work with astrological and tarot clients.
