Resilience in the Horoscope

presented by Glennys Lawton

Individuals are often drawn to seek astrological guidance from an astrologer when they are in transition, crisis or deep feeling states like grief and depression. When a client makes an appointment with a consulting astrologer, an assumption of one consultation is generally the case.

How can we assist our client in only one consultation?

In this lecture we will explore astrological images that point to a deeper understanding of the strengths that are inherent within themselves and how they might employ these. We will mainly concentrate on themes that are embedded in houses such as resources in the 2nd house, the deeply engrained patterns of the 4th, habits in the 6th, the worldviews and beliefs of the 9th and the social support mechanisms of the 11th. The goal of the lecture will be to assist astrologers in reading the horoscope to support their clients in gaining confidence and strength in themselves. However, it will also encourage us to revisit our own natal horoscopes to reflect on our unseen resources.
