Using her experience as a gestalt therapist and astrologer, Margaret will present an innovative way for astrologers to work with clients to explore the natal chart—the gestalt technique of two-chair dialogue work. The use of two-chairs to develop a dialogue between different aspects of self can deepen both the practitioner’s and the client’s understanding of the archetypes and stories that are informing life choices and experiences. Margaret will also explore the benefits of this work through a number of case studies.

In the second part of her presentation she will give a live demonstration of this technique with a volunteer from the audience. To participate in this part of the presentation please bring along a transparency of your natal chart. This will enable the audience to view the chart while witnessing the two-chair dialogue.

Marg Wood About the Speaker
Margaret Wood has been a practising Astrologer, Homoeopath, Naturopath for 37 years, a psychotherapist for 24 years and gained her Masters in Gestalt Therapy in 2012. She has been lecturing professionally in Homoeopathy for 35 years and in psychotherapeutic subjects for 30 years.

Currently, Margaret is in private practice in Croydon Hills and lectures at the Southern School of Natural Therapies both face to face and online. Her practice is an eclectic blend of skills including spiritual healing and the Tarot.

Margaret has published Homoeopathy in the Home (1992) and has 2 books pending: Astrohom: the Subtle Link Between Astrology and Homoeopathy and Creating Visualizations for Spiritual Development and Healing. With an active chart, including Aries Rising and Venus on the Midheaven, she has recently learned to play the celtic harp and has just been initiated into the joys of wielding her own chain saw.
