Event Description
In this presentation we will be looking at the importance of a birth time, what is missing when we do not know it and how we can work around this. Having a birth time anchors the chart and brings our experience on Earth into focus. We gain a more pragmatic understanding of the symbolism in the chart. Without a birth time we lose the ability to move the chart through time – with the exception of direct transits to planet. Many of our astrological tools become moot or limited: return charts, lots, fidaria, profection & progressions, to name a few.
A brief exploration of the three most important astrological bodies: Sun, Moon and Earth (symbolised by the angles), will lead to the exploration of the pre-natal eclipse chart.
This is not a presentation on rectification, but rather it will be about other potential ways to anchor the symbolism in the natal chart and bring more meaning to it. There will be two example charts that will illustrate a way around the dilemma of no birth time. It is hoped that this will inspire people to explore these new ideas and concept that have their root in our astrological legacy.

About the Speaker
Eve Dembowski is a practicing astrologer, flower essence therapist, published writer and teacher, with a particular interest in horary, medical & traditional astrology. Her ruling planet Jupiter directs her passion for reconnecting people to the power and magic of their astrological lineage through her teaching. She is a tutor for the School of Traditional Astrology and has presented the STA horary course on line and in Australia since 2013; she also teaches of ‘The Foundation of Astrology’ course and runs weekly Open Chart Night.
