On Saturday 17th of August we welcome Peter Burns for his talk Astro-Palmistry. This meeting will be in-person at the Liardet Community Centre AND online via Zoom.
Lecture Description
In this lecture on Astro-Palmistry Peter Burns will explore the connections between these two ancient sister arts and provide some pointers on how the practising consultant can combine these insights. In particular he will examine the connections between the sun in natal astrology and the life line on the hands and how to interpret the different features shown on the life line with transits to the sun.
About the Speaker
Peter Burns began reading palms in 1984 and spent seven years consulting at the Fremantle markets in Western Australia, seeing approximately 1,500 people each year. Since then, Peter Burns has been teaching and lecturing in Australia and the USA.
His extensive research of the literature on palmistry revealed several basic errors which have been perpetuated over many decades. When corrected profound psychological insights can be obtained from reading the hands. For therapists and healers, these insights provide invaluable assistance for the care and assistance of clients.
Peter is also an active astrologer and was president of the Victorian Astrologers Association 2006-2008. Peter has been a regular guest speaker on ABC radio in WA and on 3RRR in Melbourne Australia.
He has been the national editor of the quarterly Journal for the Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA) since 2000 and has published numerous articles in the Horizons newsletter for the Victorian Astrologers Association, and in the Australian Wellbeing magazine.
He now focuses on teaching palmistry and astrology through his online courses.
