The Birth of Venus and Mars
presented by Michele Finey
In February and March 2022 there are two Venus-Mars conjunctions. These are highly significant conjunctions for a variety of reasons. Michele will explain the importance of these celestial alignments, particularly in light of their 32-year cycle.
Michele is feeling positive about 2022. There could not be a better time to harness the creative potential of Venus and Mars. Personally, and for the wider community, these conjunctions offer us a unique opportunity to experience rebirth.
Michele says that during lockdown it was good to have a big project to focus on, and, since the timing is right, she has chosen this meeting, in conjunction with her presentation, to officially launch her new book, ‘The Test of Time.’
‘The Test of Time’ examines the celestial mechanics of stations as well as their meaning and interpretation. How should we interpret motionless planets? What challenges and opportunities do they symbolise? The book also includes a host of fascinating case histories of well-known people and events, and covers a range of dwarf planets and asteroids.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Michele Finey started studying astrology in 1980, later going on to train as a hypnotherapist. Michele classifies herself as a modern psychological astrologer whose interests include mundane astrology and planetary cycles.
Michele has presented her research throughout Australia, online and in the US. Since her first article was published in 1983 in The Astrological Monthly Review, her work has appeared in a wide range of publications including Wellbeing, The Mountain Astrologer, Dell Horoscope and the NCGR Journal. Michele is the author of Solar Fire’s Health and Wellbeing Report and she produces a beautiful 32-page astrology calendar.
Her new book, The Test of Time, explores the phenomenon of stationary planets. Her previous books are, Secrets of the Zodiac (2009) and The Sacred Dance of Venus and Mars (2012).
