Solar-Powered Astrology
presented by Peter Burns
As well as the list of transits that most of us look at, such as those of the superior planets, Mars out to the Pluto, there is another set of transits, which are generally ignored. These are the transits of Sun: Solar Transits. Although the Sun is the most powerful body in the solar system, it’s regular transits are rarely considered by most astrologers. However the importance of Solar Transits are very under-rated.
In this online lecture, Peter will discuss the over-riding importance of the Sun in astrology, and some of the reasons why solar transits should be considered and included in our toolbox of techniques. He will also outline a method for interpreting solar transits to your natal planets, and explain how to set up a calendar that shows their repeating pattern, year after year.
Peter Burns began reading palms in 1984 and spent seven years consulting at the Fremantle Markets seeing approximately 1500 people each year. Since then he has been teaching and lecturing throughout Australia.
Peter took up astrology in the late 1980’s. He has an Astrology Diploma (FAA) and a Certificate of Horary Craftsmanship from John Frawley.
He was VAA President 2006-2008, FAA Vice-president for 3 years and editor of the FAA Journal for 16 years. Peter was a regular guest speaker on ABC radio in Perth and 3RRR in Melbourne.
Peter has lectured on palmistry and astrology in most capital cities of Australia and did lecture tours in the USA and Canada in 2011 and 2012. He now writes and teaches and organises public exhibitions of astrologers and other readers through his business: Body n Soul Expos.
Peter’s new book, Solar-Powered Astrology, is due to be released in 2020.
