Our Refund & Return Policy

Introduction

At Vic Astrology, we are committed to providing high-quality astrology education, recordings, and membership services. Our Refund Policy is drafted in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any recordings or subscribing to our membership.

1. Digital Products (Lecture Recordings)

As our lecture recordings are digital files delivered instantly or via download links, we generally do not offer refunds once the purchase is complete and the content has been accessed or downloaded.

We do not provide refunds for “change of mind” or if you decide the topic is not relevant to you after purchase.

2. Membership Subscriptions

We offer different types of membership access. Please identify which type applies to your purchase below:

A. Manual Renewal (Fixed-Term) Memberships

Definition: Memberships purchased for a specific period (e.g., 1 year) that do not automatically renew. You must manually purchase a new pass to extend your access.

No Refunds for Early Termination: As this is a pre-paid access pass for a set duration, we do not offer refunds if you choose to stop using the membership before the expiry date.

Expiration: Your access will automatically cease at the end of the purchased term unless you choose to renew it manually.

B. Recurring (Automatic) Subscriptions

Definition: Memberships that automatically renew and charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually).

Cancellation: You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.
Effect of Cancellation: If you cancel, your access to membership content will continue until the end of your current billing cycle. After this period, your access will be revoked, and you will not be charged again.

No Partial Refunds: We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. For example, if you cancel a monthly subscription halfway through the month, you will not receive a refund for the remaining two weeks, but you will retain access for that time.

3. When You Are Entitled to a Refund (Faulty Services/Products)

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if there is a major failure with our products or services.

For Digital Downloads:

Corrupt Files: The file is damaged and cannot be played.

Misdescription: The recording is significantly different from the description (e.g., wrong topic).

For Memberships (Both Manual & Recurring):

Service Unavailable: The website or member portal is inaccessible for a significant period (e.g., an extended outage preventing you from accessing content you paid for).

Features Removed: We significantly alter the membership by removing key features or content that were promised at the time of your subscription.

4. Minor Technical Issues

If you experience a minor technical issue (such as a broken link, login trouble, or file access error), please contact us immediately.

We will rectify the issue by:

Resending the file;
Resetting your access permissions; or
Providing an alternative method of access.
If we are unable to resolve the technical issue within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund.

Your full name and email address used for the account.
Order number or Subscription ID.
