Chinese Year of the Water Tiger
presented by Vic Ketis

This lecture looks at the dynamics and potentials of 2022, the Chinese Year of the Water Tiger. After 6 – 8 years dominated by the cooler constraining elements of Earth and Metal and Water, but particularly Metal, the Tiger ushers in the ‘Wood’ element. Wood is the element of creativity, birth, new growth, freedom, expression, movement forward, new ideology, initiatives, and breaking free, all of which we are seeing and you may be experiencing.

Four Pillars of Destiny is Solar based astrology, and examines the elemental and energy dynamics of a Year. The solar New Year began on February 4 (as it always does) and the lunar New Year on February 1. Each Chinese Year is defined by 2 characters, a Yin foundational character and its associated Yang counterpart. They are shown in a column formation, called a Pillar.

The lecture will give some introduction and background to the Year and the meaning of the elemental configuration.
